Caps and Gowns
All graduates must wear FAU’s customized academic regalia available exclusively through the FAU Bookstore. Graduates will not be allowed to participate in the ceremonies without full academic regalia.
Bachelor and Masters: See below for pricing and purchasing options. The deadline to submit an online order is November 1. Graduates must order their caps and gowns before the deadline to avoid paying additional late fees. Contact the FAU Bookstore at (561) 297-3720 for more details.
Doctoral: See below for pricing options. The deadline to submit an online rental order is November 1 with standard shipping fees, and November 17 with expedited shipping fees. Any rental orders received two weeks prior to graduation will incur a $25.00 late fee. Contact the FAU Bookstore at (561) 297-3720 for more details.

Online ordering is now closed. The deadline to submit an online order for Bachelors and Masters was November 1 and for Doctoral candidates was November 17. There will be limited in-store availability for those that did not order before the deadline. **A $250 deposit (Hold Fee) is required for all Doctoral rentals. The Hold Fee will be refunded upon rental return.
***PhD custom gown purchases need to be pre-ordered and should be placed at least 6 weeks in advance.
